PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
In collaboration with the Wisconsin Alumni Association - Indonesian Chapter, Professional Development is a newly established arm of PERMIAS Madison, aiming to foster members’ career and personal development through various career-related programs.
Our main objective is to work collaboratively with WAA Indonesia Chapter to pipeline our members who wants to return to Indonesia for good.
Database
Hosted here at PERMIAS Madison's website, we will have 2 databases for:
1. Database for Alumni, including CV Book (for job seeking purpose)
2. Database for Incoming Students (reach out to Seniors with similar interest/career aspiration)
Alumni Speaker Series
Registered members of PERMIAS Madison will have the access to attend our monthly speaker series by Indonesian Alumni of UW-Madison through WhatsApp. Aside from Alumni sharing on their experience & career journey, members will be given the opportunity to ask questions and network with speakers.
Info Board
Registered Members of PERMIAS Madison will have access to monthly information on career-related events on campus, opportunities posted by Kalibrr, and/or other resources.
Personal Development
Establish connection with bodies on campus for Resume Review & Mock Interview.
Pipeline & help registered members individually to secure a full time job or Summer Internship in Indonesia through WAA and Kalibrr.

This database will allow you to find Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors that may have a similar career aspiration with you! This database doesn't only show you their major, but also their non-academic experiences (internship, research groups, etc). Gain insights, tips, and advise from them. See this is as a mentoring opportunity to ease your transition to Madison. If they are willing to connect, we provide WhatsApp number & email in the database.
